Plant-based Silicone 100ml

Plant-based silicone (INCI Coco-Caprylate) is a soft, oily, and transparent substance with a yellowish color and a distinctive odor. It is a blend of esters derived from the fatty acids of coconut, caprylic, and capric acids, which is mainly used in cosmetic formulations as a substitute for volatile silicones. It is applied mainly in skincare and hair care products, where its softening properties are important, as well as in body sprays and perfumes where it is used as an emollient. 

Additionally, it acts as a strong lubricant on the skin surface, forming a thin non-greasy membrane on it, giving the skin a smooth, soft, and firm appearance. Plant-based silicone has low toxicity, does not irritate the eyes, and the skin does not have flammable properties. It blends easily with all plant oils, while its ingredients are considered absolutely safe.

Add it to the oily phase of your cosmetics in a percentage ranging from 2-25%.
